At the Lao Arts and Culture Collective (LACC), our mission is to preserve and celebrate Lao heritage by providing youth with access to traditional music, dance, arts, and history. Our goal is to create immersive cultural learning experiences that inspire a deep appreciation for Lao arts while fostering the next generation of cultural practitioners and artists.
Our STORy
Our Story
The Lao Arts and Culture Collective (LACC) was born out of a shared passion for preserving and promoting Lao cultural heritage. After a successful Lao culture camp held in 2024, we were overwhelmed with positive responses from families and participants who expressed a strong desire for more opportunities to engage with Lao culture.
Our founding members realized the importance of creating a space where Lao heritage could be celebrated, preserved, and shared year-round, which led to the formation of LACC as a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering cultural pride, empowering the next generation, and strengthening connections within the Lao community.
