Saengmany Ratsabout is a seasoned program strategist, scholar, and community advocate with over 20 years of experience designing and leading community-engaged programs and projects. He is the Co-Founder of the Lao Arts and Culture Collective and has worked extensively in public history, community development, and civic engagement.
A former refugee from Laos, Saengmany has dedicated his career to amplifying the voices and experiences of immigrant and refugee communities. He has served as a consultant to international media organizations, philanthropic institutions, and civil society organizations, offering expertise on migration history, U.S. refugee resettlement programs and policies, immigrant and refugee experiences, return migration, and social remittances.
With a deep commitment to equity and inclusion, Saengmany has played a critical role in shaping policies and initiatives that center the lived experiences of historically marginalized communities. His leadership and scholarship continue to inform and influence conversations on migration, cultural heritage, and community empowerment.
